Role Description The Laborer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Mount Sterling, KY. In this role, the Laborer assists with pipeline construction and maintenance tasks, including site preparation, trenching, backfilling, and material handling. Daily responsibilities may include operating basic hand and power tools, loading and unloading equipment, cleaning work areas, and supporting more experienced crew members as directed. The Laborer is expected to follow all safety procedures, wear required protective gear, and help maintain equipment and tools in good working order. This position involves regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires reliable attendance and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment; willingness to learn proper operation and care.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn workplace safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety policies.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
