Job Description:
The New Business Marketing Specialist partners closely with senior brokers and producers to market commercial insurance accounts, coordinate the quoting process, and support new business opportunities from submission through proposal. This position plays a critical role in developing new business while gaining the technical knowledge and sales experience necessary to transition into a Producer role.
- Partner with senior brokers to market new commercial insurance opportunities to insurance carriers.
- Submit applications to appropriate carriers and coordinate the quoting process.
- Communicate with carrier underwriters to answer questions and provide additional information needed for underwriting.
- Work closely with producers throughout the new business process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Experience Requirements:
- 1 years of B2B sales experience.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license for the state in which the position is located.
- Insurance experience.
