Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogenous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.
The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars and designed and built 30 novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.
As Brand and Concept Designer you will work with multiple teams to present Swarm Aero’s products and concepts to customers and partners and directly contribute to winning new business and building the company.
What You’ll Do
To conform to U.S. Government controlled technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

What You’ll Do
- Create: Make and direct the images, videos, and other design artifacts that go into every presentation, white paper, proposal, and ad showing the world what we do from concept to execution
- Collaborate: Partner closely with engineering and mission development colleagues
- Orchestrate: The work of 3rd party designers, artists, and creators in support of your projects
- Manage: Develop your pipeline, show mockups early and often, and keep turnarounds tight to ensure deadlines are met
- 4 years of experience in brand or conceptual design
- Developed a portfolio showcasing skills in motion, illustration, typography, photography, and data visualization
- Advanced skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation
- Created brand systems, behaviors, and design solutions with a high level of craftsmanship
- Worked on prominent projects, influencing the representation of leading companies
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative suite, Blender, Unreal, Maya, 3DS, Modo, Z-brush, Keyshot
- Strong ability to execute visual concepts and iterate from technical descriptions
- Experience with 2D/3D modeling and engaging visuals to illustrate complex narratives
- An appreciation for aesthetics, user experience, and story telling
- Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with defense technology (not required)
