Store Manager – Baton Rouge

Swap Boutique, a designer women's clothing shop with multiple locations across the state, is looking for a Store Manager to lead our beautiful Baton Rouge location. Our days are filled with incoming and outgoing designer handbags, apparel, and accessories.

As Store Manager, you'll lead and train our team, deliver an outstanding client experience, and drive sales, while staying hands-on with customers and inventory. You'll be the face of Swap Boutique in Baton Rouge and set the tone for both our team and our clients.

We're looking for a warm, confident leader with great people skills, a professional appearance, strong computer skills, and an eye for fashion. You're organized, a natural problem-solver, and just as comfortable coaching a team member as styling a client. Consignment, resale, or thrift experience is a bonus.

Full-time position with room to grow. Store hours: Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm. Schedule includes weekend coverage. We'll train you in our products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop store associates
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure strong coverage
• Foster a positive, productive, and accountable work environment
• Meet daily and monthly sales goals and motivate the team to do the same
• Build strong relationships with our clients through expert knowledge, styling, and a dedicated wish book
• Resolve client questions and concerns professionally
• Promote our brand through events, social media, and perks programs
• Select, price, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory, and work with consignors
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and a safe, organized store
• Review sales reports and statistics to identify trends and opportunities
• Handle opening, closing, cash handling, and loss prevention

Requirements

• Retail experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proven ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience creating schedules and managing staff availability
• Good math skills and comfort with reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
• Flexibility to work weekends and a variety of shifts
• Photography and social media experience is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
