Duties
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and sales transactions
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a café or retail grocery store environment is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food industry operations and team collaboration
