Title: Electrical Designer
Location: Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ
Job Description:
- Design electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communications) for advanced facilities using AutoCAD and Revit MEP, producing 2D/3D models and construction documents
- Deliver complex electrical design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget
- Develop layouts, schematics, and electronic documentation while maintaining quality and client standards
- Mentor junior designers/drafters, plan staffing based on project needs, and align work with client expectations and deliverables
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred
- 6 years of Revit/BIM design experience
- At least 1 year of semiconductor experience
- Experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects, mission critical facilities experience is a plus.
- Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etcTeam leadership interaction experience
- Good knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements
- Project lead experience
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
