Overview
The purpose of the CDL Driver is to operate large company vehicles, which include dump trucks, flatbeds, tri-axels, tankers, and other company CDL vehicles to and on various company construction sites, while doing so in a safe and efficient manner.

The purpose of the CDL Driver is to operate large company vehicles, which include dump trucks, flatbeds, tri-axels, tankers, and other company CDL vehicles to and on various company construction sites, while doing so in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various commercial vehicles, such as dump trucks, flatbeds, triaxles, or tankers, in strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- May assist with loading and unloading materials on construction sites, following safe practices and using appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Caring for company machines/vehicles/equipment/tools.
- Keep working sites clean of all unused/waste materials and ensure all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.
- Following instructions from supervisors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License - CDL A with a Tanker Endorsement
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating commercial vehicles in a construction environment.
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check, including MVR.
- Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
- Up-to-date DOT Medical Card - Required.
- Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer or mobile device for extended periods.
- Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry at least 40 lbs.
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.
- Will work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, cold, dust, fumes, and other typical shop or field conditions.
- Ability to travel independently to company meetings or vendor locations when needed.
