About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing Assistant to support our sales organization within a growing insurance agency. This role works closely with Producers and agency leadership to support prospecting, lead generation, and sales initiatives. The Marketing Assistant helps fuel new business growth by providing prospective lists, marketing support, and sales-related coordination. This position is strictly a sales-support role and does not involve account management or policy servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop prospective lead lists for Producers based on target industries, niches, and agency growth initiatives
- Compile and maintain prospect data including business details, contact information, and market segmentation
- Support Producers with pre-sales preparation, outreach materials, and organization of prospect information
- Assist with marketing campaigns that support sales efforts, including email outreach, direct mail, events, and promotions
- Prepare and coordinate sales and marketing materials such as presentations, proposals, and promotional collateral
- Maintain accurate prospecting and campaign data within agency systems and tracking tools
- Generate reports related to prospecting activity and marketing efforts
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the marketing and sales teams as needed Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in marketing, sales support, or an administrative role preferred
- Strong research, organizational, and data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with CRM or agency management systems a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
