Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist - School based
Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist - School based to join our team for one part-time to full-time position providing speech therapy at a K-12 school.
This role offers an opportunity to work closely with students in small group and individual settings, collaborate with teachers and families, and help shape a language-rich environment where every voice is valued.
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist - School based Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in individual and small-group sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education/therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and school psychologists to support classroom communication and social-pragmatic skills.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates.
- Support a communication-friendly school culture that aligns with neurodiversity-affirming practices.
- Provide staff and family consultation on communication strategies and augmentative supports when appropriate.
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist - School based Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Ohio SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP (or strong CFY considered).
- Strong collaborative, compassionate, and flexible communication style.
