Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including heavy lifting, materials handling, and ensuring the accurate processing of orders. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive shipments from factory and regional warehouse locations, verifying the accuracy of received items.
• Replenish inventory in designated warehouse bin locations and maintain proper storage and identification methods of materials.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Utilize SAP B1 or similar systems for tracking inventory and managing orders as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask while prioritizing numerous tasks.
• Experience operating order pickers, pallet jacks, or other warehouse machinery is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
