Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Pump Technician located in Deer Park, TX. The Pump Technician will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and components. Duties include dismantling and inspecting pumps, cleaning and repairing parts as necessary, diagnosing operational issues, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure functionality. Accurate documentation and collaboration with team members will also be essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in pump operation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to the role
- Ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic issues
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting
- High school diploma or GED; additional technical training is a plus
