SWA Los Angeles Seeks Mid-Level Landscape Designer/Architect with Experience in Design, Project Management, and Construction Documents
SWA is an award-winning, international landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm with offices in California, Texas, New York and Shanghai. We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented landscape architects to fulfill substantial roles in our Los Angeles office. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics, exceptional functionality, keen understanding of social design, and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability.
Candidates are required to submit a resume and an extensive portfolio of built projects and drawing sets highlighting Design capabilities, Construction Documents, materials and details. The ideal candidate will have at minimum 3-5 year work experience in a landscape architecture firm in the US.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
2. Strong design and construction detail skills (on-structure/on-grade)
3. Proficiency with Auto CAD, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
4. Demonstrated ability in Construction Documents and Specifications
6. Ability to conduct Client meetings and presentations
7. Project management/project coordination
8. Strong communication skills
9. Meticulous attention to detail
Salary ranges from $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience; excellent benefits including Employee Stock Ownership Program, Profit Sharing, 401K, Health Insurance.
