Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing the overall dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing empty plates.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and ensuring all areas are tidy.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Ensure that all food handling guidelines are followed to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, including arranging tables and chairs as needed.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems to assist in order management when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and team members.
