Job Summary
We are seeking (CDL) Class A Truck Driver to make local deliveries
Duties
- Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks the local area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
Experience
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial setting
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for unloading tasks
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation
Pay: $800.00 - $1,100.00 per week
