Independent Skills Facilitator

Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.

THE POSITION:

We’re looking for full and part-time Independent Skills Facilitators for our Hollister Supportive Living program.

• Assist clients in recognizing and identifying training and support needs
• Participate in futures planning and other client related meetings
• Collect and summarize data on client progress toward goals
• Train/teach skills identified on INSP
• Serve as advocate for clients with public and other agencies
• Carry cell phone for client emergencies

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must have valid California driver’s license
• Must have personal vehicle and proof of auto liability insurance
• Must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
• Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test
• First Aid/CPR certification (SVS will provide)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
