We are launching our Sixth Transportation Division anchored in Hollister, CA, and we need a Divisional Transportation Manager to lead the way.
Reporting directly to the Statewide Director of Transportation (who oversees 850 vehicles across California), you will command a fleet of 100 light-duty vehicles serving adults with developmental disabilities across Northern and Central California.
This is not a typical logistics job. You won't be fighting with routing software or negotiating vehicle purchases—our Program Managers and Statewide Director handle those tasks. Your job is to lead people, manage assets, and build a culture of safety.

Your Responsibilities
- Fleet Management (Light Duty): Oversee the maintenance and safety of 100 vehicles (primarily 9-passenger Ford vans). Ensure proactive maintenance (oil, tires, brakes) so our programs never experience downtime. Note: No heavy-duty CHP inspection experience required.
- Lead the AI Safety Upgrade: Spearhead the transition from standard Telematics to Dual AI Dashcams. You will be the "Safety Coach," using real-time AI data to mentor drivers and prevent accidents before they happen.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise Transportation Coordinators. Professionalize the driving force by instilling pride, uniformity, and safety consciousness.
- Resourceful Operations: Triage maintenance issues across a territory spanning Newark, San Jose, Gilroy, Salinas, and Soledad. Use your resourcefulness to find local solutions for repairs and keep the fleet moving efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Participate in accident investigations and internal Quality Assurance teams.
