Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Optician at SVS Vision located in Mount Pleasant, MI. The Optician will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses based on their preferences and needs, ensuring proper fitting of eyewear, and performing adjustments or repairs as needed. Additional responsibilities include educating customers on lens and frame options, assisting with eyewear orders, supporting optometrists with daily operations, and maintaining a high level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Optics and Optometry
- Skills in performing Eye Exams and assisting with vision-related assessments
- Strong focus on Customer Service and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
- Attention to detail in selecting, fitting, and adjusting eyewear
- Proficiency in communication and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in a similar optical or eye care role is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in opticianry are a plus
