Position Summary: An SVP Educator is the product authority across all SVP Brands including Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Singer and Creative. The educator demonstrates, teaches, and supports users across the full product assortment of sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines. This work is performed at local dealerships or authorized retailers as well as through online workshops. They conduct workshops on machine operation, software, and creative techniques to inspire customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and promote SVP brands
Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge & Point of Contact
- Turn education, engagement, and knowledge into profitable sales for our B2B customers (dealers, retail)
- Collaborate with the sales team to convey the features/advantages/benefits of the products across multiple channels in customer-facing setting
- Increase SVP footprint within retail (dealers and mass) by partnering with Account Managers
- Serve as the point of contact / product expert
- Attend crucial sales meetings with key customers
Demonstration & Training
- Showcase the key features of SVP products at dealer events, mass retail, workshops, and in-store, including specialized training for new owners
- Train the retail sales team on “how” to sell an SVP Branded sewing/crafting products by focusing on the features, advantages and benefits of the product.
- Create and deliver engaging sewing projects, educational materials, and tutorials ranging from beginner to advanced levels
- Own end-to-end training, including preparation, delivery, and presenting materials to large groups (e.g., employees, B2B customers, management, end-consumers)
- Travel 50–70% as required by the role, including independently arranging transportation, renting and driving a car, and navigating unfamiliar locations
Product Support & Customer Engagement
- Lead troubleshooting with users, support software usage, and achieving optimal results
- Provide a supportive, creative, and enthusiastic environment to build confidence in sewing
- Maintain demo equipment, ensuring machines are running smoothly for events
- Develop, execute, and maintain material for training new Dealers on Sewing and Embroidery machines, Sewing and Home Essential products, Sales and best business practices in the sewing industry.
- Own the set-up and demo sewing & embroidery machines at various wholesale and consumer shows
- Set-up, train, and breakdown at conventions
- Other duties may be assigned.
You Bring (requirements, preferred skills):
- 3 years of sales experience with the ability to convey and sell a full product assortment (B2B and B2C)
- 2 years of experience in sewing instruction, retail sales, or similar
- Deep knowledge of, and passion for, sewing, embroidery, and quilting techniques
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting computerized sewing and embroidery machines
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively teach and engage audiences across diverse skill levels
- 2 years of experience creating curriculum and program design for educational sessions

You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
- Any additional physical requirements

Work Environment/Location/Flex Arrangement:
SVP Worldwide offers a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. As part of our Flexible Workplace Policy, this position will be hybrid based in our company HQ in Nashville, TN.
Ability to travel 50–70% as required by the role, including independently arranging transportation, renting and driving a car, and navigating unfamiliar locations to perform job duties at dealer, retail, and event sites.
