Job Summary:
SVNA Home Assistance, a registered, non-medical home care company, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/PCAs to join our team in Litchfield County, Connecticut. As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide high-quality, non-medical care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with flexible scheduling opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services, including assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication reminders and management
- Offer transfer assistance and provide support with mobility and balance
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation and activities with clients
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients
- Ability to work 6-12 hour shifts, with every other weekend or 1 weekend day a week required
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
