Position Purpose

Assist the Front Office Manager in Front Desk operations to ensure membership satisfaction and proper completion of all front office tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Takes restaurant reservations accurately and efficiently
  • Answers phone calls and emails with confidence and professional verbiage following club standards
  • Works quickly with Seven Rooms and Peoplevine systems
  • Assist in the plotting and seating of all members and guests
  • Assists in the training of all Front Desk team members
  • Ensures all rules of the club are understood and followed by all members and guests prior to entering the club
  • Assist in printing daily menus for the club
  • Acknowledges guests’ needs, anticipates guests’ needs and always responds promptly to maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Informs the Membership team of any guest complaints, requests or problems
  • Maintains an organized and clean work area
  • Follow all front office standard operating procedures.
  • Resolve member and guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously. Expedite member and guest check-ins and departures. Provide concierge-type services to guests.
  • Update group information; maintain, monitor, and prepare group requirements; relay information to all concerned staff members.
  • Manage the routing of telephone, facsimile, mail and other messages to members and guests.
  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with all other departments.
  • Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Front Desk Manager.

  • Excellent attitude to the job, co-workers, and members with the willingness to learn new things regardless of previous job experiences.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
  • Great personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Should be able to communicate, read and write clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
