Business Analyst HUD & Section 8 HCV Program
Location: NYC. NY
Duration: 12 months

We re seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in HUD regulations and the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The ideal candidate has 8 years of handson HCV experience and a strong background in process analysis, compliance, and datadriven decisionmaking.
Responsibilities
- Analyze HCV program operations, workflows, and data to improve efficiency and compliance
- Interpret HUD regulations and translate requirements into business and system changes
- Develop business requirements, process maps, and documentation
- Support implementation of HUD initiatives (HOTMA, NSPIRE, SEMAP updates)
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor program performance
- Collaborate with program, IT, and vendor teams to ensure accurate system configuration
Requirements
- 8 years of direct experience with HUD s HCV Program
- Strong knowledge of HUD regulations, and Section 8 HCV operations
- Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering
- Familiarity with housing systems (Yardi, Emphasys, Tenmast) and HUD tools (PIC/EIV)
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
