Position Summary:
Suwannee Medical Personnel is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for contractassignments in Med-Surg units in Thomasville, GA. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are confident managing a diverse patient population and are looking for consistent, full-time contract work in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg environment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Perform patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
- Strong clinical and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Compensation & Contract Details:
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,700 – $2,100
- Hourly Rate: 48$/hr
- Overtime: $72 (1.5x after 40 hours)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions available)
- Shift: Day and Night shifts available
