What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semi-Truck Operator position at Suwannee Logistic?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Semi truck
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on routes
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods
Experience:
- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle operation and maintenance
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Note: CDL required, Clean driving record, and must pass a drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.05 per mile
