Position Title: Victim Advocate
Salary: $32,000 to $42,000 (salary based on experience)
Description of Position:
A Victim Advocate provides advocacy services to victims of violent crimes. This position performs victim assessments to determine service needs and communicates with various agencies to address the needs of the victim. This position provides secondary response to crime victims following law enforcement contact. Personnel will exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment working with limited supervision.
Qualifications:
*Be at least 18 years of age *Have a Valid Driver's License *Not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement *Never received a dishonorable discharge from any of the Armed Forces of the United States *Be of good moral character *Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening * Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical, administrative or related service field preferred
