What are the responsibilities and job description for the DTC Marketing Manager position at Suvie?
DTC Marketing Manager
Suvie • Full-time • Hybrid (One Day / Week in Cambridge, MA Office)
Suvie, a dynamic and rapidly growing food technology startup, invites you to be a part of our exceptional team as a DTC Marketing Manager. At Suvie, we are revolutionizing dinner by making gourmet meals effortless through our restaurant-quality meal kit, which cooks itself using a luxury smart kitchen appliance. We believe in the power of diverse voices and experiences, fostering an inclusive & innovation-focused culture where everyone’s input is not only valued, but crucial to our success. We’re not just shaping the future of kitchen technology; we’re defining it. Our fast-paced environment encourages creativity, collaboration, and the exploration of new ideas.
Your Responsibilities
This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, performance marketing, and conversion. You’ll own the creative engine that fuels Suvie’s top-of-funnel growth — from the influencers and creators who introduce new audiences to Suvie, to the ads that bring them in, to the on-site experience that turns interest into orders. You’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and work hand-in-hand with team members in Growth, Creative, and Data to accomplish your goals, which are to:
- Own Suvie’s influencer and UGC program end-to-end — sourcing, briefing, contracting, and managing creators across paid and organic partnerships, and building a steady pipeline of authentic content that fuels every channel
- Oversee the ad development workflow across paid social, CTV, and Applovin — driving the volume, velocity, and quality of creative needed to keep performance channels fed and tested
- Partner with Growth and Creative to build a rigorous testing framework for ad concepts, hooks, and formats; ensure every asset has a clear hypothesis and a clear read
- Lead CRO initiatives across the site, landing pages, and checkout — from hypothesis and brief, to test design, to results readout and rollout of winners
- Plan, brief, and iterate on on-site experiences for new campaigns, creator collaborations, promotions, and seasonal moments
- Build and run brand-to-brand partnerships, co-marketing collaborations, and event activations — from sourcing the right partners and aligning on goals, to executing campaigns, pop-ups, and IRL moments that put Suvie in front of new audiences
- Brief the design team on creative needs across ads, landing pages, and partner assets; review final work for brand, accuracy, and performance intent
- Partner with the Data Analyst to define and monitor the DTC KPIs that matter: CAC, ROAS, CVR, AOV, landing page conversion, creative win rate, and contribution from creators and partners
- Stay on top of platform changes, creator trends, and CRO best practices, and translate them into testable bets for Suvie
- Take on additional projects, tasks, and opportunities as they arise
Your Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in DTC marketing at a subscription or consumer brand, with demonstrable impact on acquisition, conversion, and creative performance
- Proven track record running an influencer and/or UGC program at scale — sourcing creators, negotiating deals, managing usage rights, and turning content into ad-ready assets
- Deep familiarity with paid social ad ecosystems (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), creative best practices by platform, and what “good” looks like for high-velocity testing
- Strong project management chops — you keep multiple workstreams, vendors, and creators moving without dropping the ball
Strategic Thinking
- You think in funnels, creative cycles, and unit economics — not just one-off campaigns
- Able to prioritize the highest-leverage acquisition and conversion opportunities across a roadmap full of possibilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making calls with incomplete data
Collaboration & Communication
- You know how to brief creative partners and creators, align cross-functionally with Growth, Lifecycle, and Product, and present results clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates
- You value organized briefs, clear naming conventions, and a well-documented program
- You flourish in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, taking on new projects and opportunities as they arise
