What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Scale House Operator / Cashier position at Sutter Metals?
Sutter Metals, LLC is a growing metal recycling facility with three locations - seeking a Part Time Scale House Operator / Cashier for our Tacoma yard.
Shift Available:
Mondays: 8am - 430pm
Saturdays: 8am - 230pm
Position Duties:
- Recording inbound/outbound weights of vehicles using truck scale reader/printer.
- Collecting and storing customer ID information for compliance.
- Handling cash and check for customer payout. Reconciling cash till daily and filing receipt records.
- Directing customer traffic and providing customer service via phone, email and in-person as needed.
- Data entry using Excel and industry-specific POS software.
Candidate Preferences:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass criminal background screening
- 1 years of cash handling experience
- 1 years of customer service experience
- 1 years of experience in manufacturing sector
