OR Materials Specialist

Organization: ABSMC-Ashby Campus Position Overview: At the direction of the Manager, Distribution & O/R Materials Manager and the guidance of the Clinical Operation Manager Perioperative Services, maintain an operationally and cost effective material acquisition, inventory and distribution system in the Operation room, Anesthesia and CPD. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Knowledge of inventory control and material handling. Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction both written, oral or diagram form. Pay Range is $33.77 to $41.15 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
