Organization: NCH-Novato Community Hospital Position Overview: Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs in applicable care setting (hospital, ambulatory, inpatient rehabilitation unit, skilled nursing, home health, psychiatric care facility, senior care program). Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment. Supervises students. Job Description: SIGN ON BONUS: $5000. Available to external candidates in accordance with the Sutter Health policy EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program: baccalaureate degree in physical therapy. Master's: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program: master's degree in physical therapy. Other: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program: doctorate degree in physical therapy. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE PT-Physical Therapist Upon Hire BLS - Basic Life Support SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Requires critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a demanding environment, balance multiple priorities and take appropriate actions. Computer proficiency in word processing/typing, basic application and hardware functions required for applicable care setting.
