Sutphen is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Urbana, Ohio to develop, We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Urbana, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in our custom-built fire apparatus. You will work closely with mechanical engineers, technicians, and production staff to ensure our vehicles meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Essential Job Functions
Design functional, reliable & cost effective electrical systems that meet all applicable FMVSS & NFPA standards.
Assume responsibility for new option design integration & complete electrical configuration of firefighting apparatus.
Assume accountability for accuracy of projects & designs that affect the electrical systems.
Work with vendors on manufacturing & quality related issues.
Support Parts & Service with electrically related field service problems or concerns.
Work with Parts & Service to identify & fix any ongoing field service issues.
Support the shop floor with direction on electrically related questions.
