As a Director, you will have 7–8 years of experience, experience leading multi-channel digital programs across B2B tech or enterprise, with strong foundations in social, content, paid, and executive platforms and have a track record of launching new digital channels and activating niche or technical communities across platforms like LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Discord, and YouTube.
The Director of Digital & Social Media will report directly to the Vice President of Digital and play a critical role in expanding our digital practice. This leader will serve as both a client-facing strategist and an internal manager, ensuring SG delivers best-in-class digital and social programs that drive measurable impact.
In this role you will own day-to-day program leadership—organizing teams, managing workflows, and serving as the primary client lead. You bring the senior-level judgment that turns business goals into clear, scalable digital programs and reduces VP-level lift, ensuring smooth, high-quality execution across every workstream.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You’ll oversee integrated digital and social programs, mentor and manage team members, and help evolve SG’s digital offerings as our practice grows. You will lead executive thought-leadership programs, launch and scale channels for clients, and guide digital storytelling that builds visibility, credibility, and measurable impact across owned, earned, and paid channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-8 years of experience at a B2B agency or in-house at a B2B tech company on a digital marketing or social media team
- Strong analytical capabilities; experienced with data tracking, performance metrics, and tools (e.g., MuckRack, Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
- Proven ability to lead digital and social programs for executives and brands, ideally in B2B tech.
- Integrated communications acumen; capable of aligning digital/social strategies with PR and earned media campaigns.
- Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and proactive in evolving offerings and contributing to agency growth.
- Familiarity with paid social campaigns, including small-scale amplification budgets.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
