Position Overview
Sute CPAs is seeking a full-time Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in Cobb County, GA (Kennesaw/Marietta). The successful candidate will work mostly onsite and directly with clients and staff to ensure accurate tax compliance while minimizing our clients’ tax liabilities. Confidence in his or her tax knowledge while looking for opportunities to learn and serve a diverse book of business is critical. Reviewing tax returns, identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities, onboarding new clients, and preparing more complicated returns are expected. This is a highly personal and interactive professional services-based role.
Qualifications
· 3 years of experience in public accounting (income tax focused)
· Active CPA certification in Georgia
· Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
· Experience with tax planning and compliance is required
· Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software is a plus
· Experience with business tax returns and IRS representation is a plus
· Background checks and references are required
