Position: Energy Auditor/Sales Rep ($70k - $100k Free College Education, Profit Sharing, Health Insurance, 401K & More)

We are seeking a motivated and mission-driven Energy Auditor/Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, believes in energy efficient buildings, and wants to make a real impact in the community while earning a strong income. As an Energy Auditor, you will educate homeowners and businesses on building science-driven approaches to insulate, air seal, and ventilate their buildings, guide them through the decision-making process, and help them choose Sustainergy to help them.

Compensation:

• Base salary uncapped commission bonuses, realistically totalling $70-100k in the first year

Responsibilities:

• Train on-the-job through shadowing and sit-down education (paid training)
• Perform in-home energy audits by walking through all levels of buildings
• Educate customers on issues found and the solutions Sustainergy can provide
• Self-generate leads as well as serve company-provided leads
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Collaborate with internal and install teams for smooth project handoff
• Track sales activities and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and reliable transportation
• Previous sales experience is preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, highly motivated, and goal driven with a proven track record
• Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates
• Self-starter and networker, motivated to obtain new leads

The Location: Sustainergy is based in Cincinnati, OH, one of the greenest and most affordable cities in the country. Driving routes typically up to 50 mile radius (further appointments mostly held virtually)
