Maintenance Technician
Location: Brookfield, WI
Pay: $28–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in Madison. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting, and can handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and/or commercial properties.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from tenants and management

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues

Maintain exterior areas including snow removal, groundskeeping, and basic landscaping as needed

Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or large projects

Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent

Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Qualifications:

3 years of experience in property, facilities, or building maintenance

Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

HVAC or other trade certifications a plus
Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday

Occasional on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
