Business Banking Representative

Location: Bottineau, ND

Compensation: 25-31/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Business Banking Representative to join a growing community banking team in Bottineau, North Dakota.

The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, commercial loan processing, and customer service. This individual will support business bankers with loan applications, portfolio management, and daily servicing needs while building positive relationships with business clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and process commercial loan applications while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with commercial loan portfolio management, including loan advances, paydowns, payment issues, wire transfers, and other servicing requests.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for business banking clients, providing timely assistance and resolving account-related questions.

• Meet with business customers to open accounts, close loans, complete customer profiles, resolve documentation exceptions, and gather required information.

• Support assigned business bankers in meeting deadlines, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering high-quality service.

• Maintain strong relationships with business customers by providing professional, responsive, and knowledgeable support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of banking experience or similar related experience preferred.

• Experience with commercial lending, loan processing, or business banking preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

• Understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and loan documentation.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business banking teams.
