Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Part time position
- Will be around Augusta/ Waynesboro areas
- Safely operate tanker and walking floor trailers.
- Wet line trailer experience required.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus
- Local/Home daily
- Monday-Sunday
- Loads will be mostly weekends
- Ability to log scale tickets/BOLs and email
- Able to work with customers and clients respectfully and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs on trucks and farm machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct safety checks on all equipment before use and adhere to safety protocols during operation.
Driver Qualifications
- Current CDL-A
- Minimum of 2 yrs recent qualified CDL - A driving experience
- Proven experience in operation of tractor trailers, walking floor and tanker.
- No major traffic violations or accidents
- An active medical card.
- Know how to perform pre and post trip inspections
- Have the ability to climb a ladder and vent trailers
- Tanker Experience is required
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Familiarity with farming practices.
