We're looking for an organized, personable Interior Design & ECommerce Coordinator who enjoys working with customers and keeping projects moving from order to completion.
What You'll Do
As our Interior Design & Ecommerce Coordinator, you'll play an important role in both customer experience and our day-to-day office operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a lead point of contact for customer service
- Processing online orders and distributing them to our workroom and sample department
- Assisting customers by phone and email with product questions, rug recommendations, and order information
- Reviewing open orders and proactively identifying ways to keep projects on schedule
- Preparing customer quotes and providing inventory availability and shipping information
- Invoicing and clearing shipped orders
- Organizing and filing completed orders
- Working with other departments to help ensure orders move smoothly from purchase through shipment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a background or interest in interior design who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and keeping projects on track. An eye for design is a plus, but just as important is the ability to communicate clearly, manage details, and provide great customer experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Comfortable assisting customers over the phone and through email
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability and willingness to learn about our website, internal systems, and accounting software
- Interior design, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
