Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead and support our production team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations within the fabrication area, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. Your strong leadership and deep understanding of production processes will be key to fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily production schedules to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Confirm all positions are staffed prior to production line start-up
- Lead morning exercises and job rotations to encourage ergonomic best practices
- Monitor machine performance and address operational issues promptly
- Ensure workstations comply with USDA inspection and sanitation requirements
- Foster a safety-first environment through daily practices and safety meetings
- Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve workflow and production challenges
- Reinforce the importance of quality assurance and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in meat processing, fabrication, or supervisory management
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a strong plus
- Commitment to a safe, respectful, and team-oriented work culture
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Willingness to participate in training and development
