Summary of Position
The Senior Human Resource Generalist assists in the development of the strategic plan for the Human Resource Department. Works in the areas of compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection, onboarding, and training, as well as employee relations and communication, while in compliance with all state and federal regulations, to create a productive working environment and to meet all company goals and objectives.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, & Authority
1. Operator strategy/ Associate program
- Responsible for associate program – communicate with temporary agencies, place orders, tracking, hiring, analysis, continually improve associate quality
- Monitor operator & temp KPIs
2. Recruitment, selection & onboarding
- Supports employment function of all positions – job postings (internal and external), job fairs, recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring
- Conducts all onboarding & related activities
- Partner with recruiters
3. Employee relations and communication
- Administers all communications with employees – postings, emails, assist with newsletters, etc.
4. Tier system
- Develops tier system for direct labor to incentivize and reward advanced skill and performance levels
-Define each tier’s responsibilities and goals
-Develop tests to validate and achieve each tier
5. Serves as backup/support for the other Senior Human Resource Generalist
- Hourly, weekly UKG payroll
- Event planning
- Work comp administration
- Performance review admin

Required Education, Credentials, & Certifications
- Bachelor’s (Required)
Experience:
- Human Resource: 5 years (Required)
- Injection molding industry experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Working in the manufacturing industry: 5 years (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, UKG or equivalent system
Language:
- Bilingual Spanish and English (preferred)
