What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor of Math position at Sussex County Community College?
Sussex County Community College is looking for Adjunct Instructors to teach Statistics and other math courses during the day, in person on-campus at our college in Newton, New Jersey. Successful candidates will have completed a Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field or at least 18 graduate Math credits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. A Bachelors degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required.
Prior college/university teaching experience preferred.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.
- Prior teaching experience and knowledge of online instruction strongly preferred.
- NJ, NY, and PA residence recommended.
Adjunct pay is based on $910 per credit hour.
