Construction Project Manager
Responsible for managing all phases of commercial and civil construction projects, including working with the onsite supervisors to coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment, ensuring any project specific plan, drawings and specifications is being strictly followed, and work is proceeding safely, on schedule and on budget. Applicants should have a strong civil background with knowledge in survey, civil design, estimating, job costing, autocad, blue beam, topcon controls. Also knowledge in commercial construction and site development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Estimating and Bidding
- Oversee all components of commercial and civil construction (subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, schedule, permitting, pay applications, client coordination, etc.)
- Budgeting, cost controls, and job costing
- Ensure QA/QC duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed are strictly followed.
- Communicate and insure coordination with Engineers/Architects for RFI's, addendums and material submittals as needed.
- Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with with on-site supervision/inspectors.
- Manage Project documentation including daily logs, photos, Submittals, RFI's, CO's, Weekly Reports, etc.
- Perform duties for multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Skills & Experience
- Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst all jobsite subcontractors and vendors.
- Manage and oversee employees, subcontractors, and supplies
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written and record keeing skills
- Proficient in Bluebeam, autocad or related programs, topcon survey equipment
- Proficient in Excel, document management, cost reporting.
- Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
- Blueprint reading.
- Physically lift-up to 75 lbs.
- Endurance and ability to visit and inspect the multiple job sites, including stairs or other elevated structures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
