Dear Faculty,

As part of the upcoming 5th–6th grade realignment, we are announcing internal postings for available positions. The internal posting is designed to review employees who are interested in submitting their request for a voluntary transfer. All placements will be made in accordance with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

• 20 Regular Education
• 8 Special Education
• 3 Related Arts
• Guidance Counselor
• Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• English Language Development (ELD)
  
  

Certification Requirement

Applicants must hold a valid Grades 4–8 certification or be willing to take and pass the Grades 5–6 add-on Praxis.

• If an employee does not currently hold a 4–8 certification but is willing to obtain the proper certification, they are eligible to apply for an emergency permit through the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).
  
  

Placement Timeline & Permanence

• Successful candidates will remain in their current position for the remainder of this school year.
• They will start in the new role for the 2026–27 school year.
• Voluntary transfers are permanent for the 2026–27 school year and beyond, unless the employee applies for a future vacancy.
  
  

Interview Process

Employees who submit their letter of interest will receive a link to complete a SparkHire interview.

• The interview will consist of three questions.
• You will have two minutes to respond to each question.
• Completion of this interview is mandatory to be considered for a position.
