Overview
Susquehanna is looking for a Technical Team Lead to join our APAC exchange Connectivity team. In this role you will develop and enhance low latency and high frequency exchange connectivity applications by designing, implementing, and delivering complex software systems that meet the business needs. You will manage a team of highly technical software engineers and will lead projects from start to finish; from gathering requirements and analysis, to development, testing and deployment to production.
The successful candidate should have a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex applications that meet demanding performance and scalability goals in a trading environment.

Collaboration: You will partner closely with our Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure and Strategy Developer Teams to develop and manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region.
What we’re looking for
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline
- Minimum of five years experience working as a technology team lead
- Minimum of three years experience as a team lead in the financial markets industry, driving multiple concurrent projects from analysis to production and managing teams of highly technical software development engineers.
- Experience working on exchange connectivity technology.
- A minimum of ten years experience designing and developing applications using object-oriented programming using C on Linux with knowledge of design, profiling, performance tuning, OO, generic programming, STL, boost, sockets, multi-threading, and IPC.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of full life-cycle development and performance optimization/latency reduction methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of financial products, exchange connectivity, and market data
