Shipping and Receiving Associate

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, your work is an essential part of our production process. You will assist in crafting high-quality personalized gifts, like monogrammed stemless glassware. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in several different types of production tasks and skills. You will have to ensure customer satisfaction by proper execution of drop shipping with the ability to identify different box types, and use a scale to determine correct shipping costs.
Computer knowledge preferred, ability to understand programs and their integration into our shipping requirements.

Job requirements:

• Forklift / Tow Motor Experience (REQUIRED TO APPLY)
• Valid PA Drivers License (REQUIRED TO APPLY)
• Ability to drive small box truck (REQUIRED TO APPLY)
• The ability to lift up to 50lb boxes (REQUIRED TO APPLY)
• Experience with warehouse organization
• All employees must complete SGC's training program
• Meet daily production quota (as specified by your team Lead)
• Come to work every day with a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Be adaptable and open to being trained to work in multiple departments
• Open to learning and developing new skills
• Read and follow work orders to fulfill customer specifications
• Prepare LTL shipments for pick up and delivery

Additional role details:

• You may need to stand for up to 8 hours. There are two, paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30 minute lunch break. Work may be repetitive at times. Overtime is available.
• In general, work hours are from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30PM. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
• Pay begins at $14 per hour, with many opportunities for growth and advancement.
