Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently and according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling tasks including bussing tables, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment.
• Uphold safety standards by following proper food safety procedures, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within quick service or fast-food restaurants.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous restaurant or retail experience is a plus; culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
