Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the restaurant and gain valuable experience in guest services.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Manage waitlists and ensure timely seating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Shifts
- Two nights a week starting at 5pm
-Saturday 2pm-10pm
-Increased hours over holiday time periods
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
