Job Summary
We are a modern Japanese restaurant specializing in All-You-Can-Eat sushi and Japanese cuisine. We are seeking experienced and motivated Front of House Shift Supervisors to help lead our service team and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Duties
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Lead and support hosts, servers, bussers, and food runners
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Assist with staff breaks and floor coverage
- Manage seating flow and waitlists
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Monitor side work, cleanliness, and restaurant standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and sushi bar teams
- Support management with training and coaching staff
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or supervisor experience required
- Experience supervising front-of-house staff in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Japanese restaurant experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
