Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sushi Helper to join our team. As a Sushi Helper, you will assist the sushi chefs in preparing high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of sushi ingredients (cutting fish, vegetables, etc.)
- Support sushi chefs with assembling sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Ensure food safety standards and hygiene regulations are followed
- Prepare and restock ingredients as needed
- Provide support during peak hours to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred (sushi experience is a plus)
- Basic knife skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a f ast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
