Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine or beverage pairings
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations for efficient seating arrangements
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing activities
- Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced nightclub or restaurant setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate check processing
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations
