Duties
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or specials, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, demonstrating excellent guest relations and phone etiquette
Skills
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and build rapport
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest relations, serving procedures, and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
