Duties:
- Work with our resy platform to create promotional campaigns
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Take reservations and manage the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation, social media experience a plus
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of guest services to assist with inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling reservations using a POS system
- Strong hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent education level
